Visiting the website

The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Serving and protecting web requests can involve technical information such as an IP address, requested address, browser information and request time. Cloudflare processes information in providing its hosting and security services; see Cloudflare's privacy policy for its description of those practices.

Search and optional features

The site search compares your query with a public article index in your browser. The query can appear in the page address and therefore in browser history or a request to the search page. We have not installed advertising tags, analytics scripts, social embeds, newsletter forms or visitor accounts.

Email correspondence

If you email us, the shared Gmail inbox receives your address, your message and any information you choose to include. We use correspondence to respond to questions, corrections and rights requests. Avoid sending sensitive information. Your email provider and the inbox provider process messages through their own services. We do not use enquiries to subscribe you to a mailing list.

Requests and retention

You may ask about, correct or request deletion of information you supplied by contacting the address above. We may need enough information to identify the relevant correspondence. Messages may be retained as needed to resolve an enquiry or document a rights concern; there is no automated retention schedule stated here.
